JAMB Subject Combination For Plant Science and Crop Production
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Plant Science and Crop Production under the Faculty of Agriculture in the institutions listed above are:
Biology or Agriculture, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Plant Science and Crop Production
In order to study Plant Science and Crop Production in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, chemistry and Biology or Agric. Science and any other subject.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) JABU requires credit pass to include Geography or Economics and at least a pass in Physics.
Direct Entry Requirements For Plant Science and Crop Production
To apply for Plant Science and Crop Production as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ levels in Chemistry and any of Biology, Agric Science, Zoology and Botany.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) JABU accepts five (5) O level credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Agric. Science, Economics and A level equivalent in the subjects listed under each programme.
