What is Engineering?
UNIBEN ENGINEERING COURSES AND DEPARTMENTS
Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies engineering, physics, and materials science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is one of the oldest and broadest of the engineering disciplines.
Civil Engineering
Civil engineering is one of the oldest engineering disciplines because it deals with constructed environment including planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, and facilities, such as roads, railroads, airports, bridges, harbors, channels, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, power plants, and water and sewage systems.
Computer Engineering
Computer engineering is the branch of engineering that integrates electronic engineering with computer sciences. Computer engineers design and develop computer systems and other technological devices
Electrical Engineering
Electrical/Electronics Engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with the technology of electricity. Electrical engineers work on a wide range of components, devices and systems, from tiny microchips to huge power station generators.
Petroleum Engineering
Petroleum engineering is a field of engineering concerned with the activities related to the production of hydrocarbons, which can be either crude oil or natural gas.
Production Engineering
Production engineering also known as manufacturing engineering, is the design, development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and control of all processes in the manufacture of a product.
Structural Engineering
Structural engineering is mainly a sub-division of civil engineering in which structural engineers are trained to understand, predict, and calculate the stability, strength and rigidity of built structures for buildings and non building structures, to develop designs and integrate their design with that of other designers, and to supervise construction of projects on site.
Chemical Engineering
Chemical engineers conceive and design processes to produce, transform and transport materials — beginning with experimentation in the laboratory followed by implementation of the technology in full-scale production.
REQUIREMENTS TO STUDY ENGINEERING IN UNIBEN
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics and
- Chemistry
Sir do uniben offers structural engineering in part time
What about aeronautic engineering,it wasnt mention as part of the engineering courses mention above.
Yes me too i would like to know if aeronautical engineering is part of the courses in Uniben
For now, UNIBEN dose not offer Aeronautical Engineering.
