First of all, the University of Benin is popularly known as UNIBEN. University of Benin is one of the universities in Nigeria located in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. It is among the best universities in Nigeria that was established/founded in 1971.
UNIBEN Resumption Date
August 15, 2021.
University of Benin will resume on the 15th of August, 2021.
Old students are expected on campus on Sunday 15th August 2021, to commence registration of courses on Monday 16th August, 2021after payment of school charges.
Registration by all students closes on Friday 3rd September, 2021, after which date, students will no longer have access to the portal of the University.
Fresh students are expected to come into the Halls of Residence on Sunday 8th August 2021, while their online clearance and registration continue on Monday 9th August, 2021.
Please be mindful that students will neither be allowed into the Halls of Residence nor registered for courses without payment of school charges.

UNIBEN Sandwich Resumption Date
August 5, 2021.
UNIBEN sandwich students will be resuming on the 5th of August, 2021.
A schedule released by the Faculty of Education lists the date for students’ registration and documentation as 2nd August, 2021, while lectures are slated from 5th August to 3rd September, 2021.
Examination is to hold between 6th and 12th September, 2021.
You can find update on the resumption date of University of Benin above. However, the federal government of Nigeria has given the authorisation for all institutions in Nigeria to remain closed until January 18, 2021.
Bearing that in mind, UNIBEN resumption date will be as from January especially if ASUU strike is eased for the time being. So if ASUU strike is not in play, UNIBEN will resume by January, if not, then it will be as from February 2021 or beyond.
