University Of Ibadan | UI (UTME & DE) Admission Policy

UI Admission Policy has been released by the management of University of Ibadan.

This is to inform all aspirants who want to apply for admission in UI either through UTME or Direct Entry (DE) that the management of the University of Ibadan (UI) has released the policy of admission into the institution.

The UI Admission policy contains information about University of Ibadan Admission processes to enable candidates know what they will do so as to successfully secure admission into UI.

UI ADMISSION POLICIES

AGE REQUIREMENT

Any candidate who wishes to apply for admission and be admitted into the University of Ibadan (UI) must have reached 16 years or more before or by 1st of October of the admission year.  Please note that the University shall not waive this requirement.

SUBJECTS NOT ACCEPTED BY UI (NON MATRICULATING SUBJECTS)

This is to officially inform all aspirants that some subjects can not be used to gain admission into UI as the university does not accept such, See List of Subjects that UI Does not Accept.

PROGRAMMES NOT OFFERED IN UI

Candidates are to also note that some programmes or courses are not offered in the University of Ibadan. These courses include but limited to:

• International Relations
• Accounting
• Marketing
• Public Administration
• Business Studies/Administration
• Computer Engineering
• Chemical Engineering.
